Fall 2026 秋

久々の更新になりました。9/13 日曜日の朝ですが、最近はとても涼しいです。雨の多い毎日ですが、仕事にはもってこいの環境です。しかし各地では線状降水帯の多発により甚大な被害に合われた方々には心よりお見舞い申し上げます。

梅雨が過ぎ、夏が過ぎ、今に至っておりますが、わちゃわちゃと忙しい毎日を過ごしていましたが、何をやっていたかというと思い出せないのは歳のせいか何なのかですね。ついこないだが遠い記憶のように感じたり、これも歳のせいか何なのか。

7月中は8月の初旬から開催されている東京エコマルシェの陳列棚の製作に追われていました。結構な物量でひたすら製作していましたらあっという間に8月に入り、子供たちが夏休みということで合間を見て近所の市民プールへ行ったりと、夏祭りへ行ったりと一通り夏休みを楽しみました。

お盆休みは上高地へ行ってきました。安曇野観光からの上高地で、沢渡バスターミナルからのシャトルバスで現地に向かうのですが、トータル的にまぁ結構な距離あります。とても涼しくてかなりたくさんの観光客でごった返していましたが、景色は本当に圧巻でした。道中に見える穂高連峰の険しさがとても印象に残っています。川の水もエメラルドグリーンで綺麗です。一度は行っておきたいという場所ですね。

お盆明けは三軒茶屋にできる民泊の家具を納めたり、気がつけば9月。Fall。現在は飲食店のレジカウンターを製作しています。

そんなこんなで2026年も残り4ヶ月を切っています。光陰矢の如し。Time is flying.

東京エコマルシェ/ Tokyo eco marche

It has been a while since my last update. It is the morning of Sunday, September 13th, and the weather has turned quite cool recently. While we have had many rainy days, the conditions are actually perfect for work. That said, I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to those who have suffered severe damage due to the frequent occurrence of linear precipitation zones in various regions.

The rainy season and summer have come and gone, bringing us to where we are now. I have spent these days in a whirlwind of activity, yet I find myself unable to recall exactly what I was doing—I wonder if that is simply a sign of getting older. Even events from the recent past feel like distant memories; I suppose that, too, might be down to age.

Throughout July, I was busy building display shelves for the Tokyo Eco-Marche, which was scheduled to open in early August. It was a massive undertaking, and as I focused intently on production, August arrived in the blink of an eye. Since the kids were on summer vacation, I made sure to carve out time for activities like visiting the local public pool and going to summer festivals—enjoying the season to the fullest.

During the Obon holiday, I visited Kamikochi. After sightseeing in Azumino, I headed to Kamikochi via a shuttle bus from the Sawando Bus Terminal; it is quite a long journey overall. Although it was bustling with crowds of tourists, the weather was pleasantly cool, and the scenery was truly breathtaking. The rugged appearance of the Hotaka Mountain Range visible along the way left a lasting impression on me. The river water, a stunning emerald green, was also beautiful. It is definitely a place worth visiting at least once.

After the Obon break, I delivered furniture for a vacation rental in Sangenjaya, and before I knew it, September—autumn—had arrived. Currently, I am working on a checkout counter for a restaurant.

And just like that, there are less than four months left in 2026. Time flies.
