トロント/Toronto

5/12から1週間ちょっとカナダ・トロントへ行ってきました。

16年ぶりのトロントは物価高騰、移民激増という印象でした。ダウンタウンはコンドミニアム（日本でいうマンション）建設ラッシュでコンストラクションワーカーで溢れていました。道路も至る所で工事が行われていて、ダウンタウンは連日大渋滞が起こっています。まさにバブルの渦中にあるといった感じです。

久々の友人に会ったりとであっという間に帰国の途に就きましたが、かなり得られるものがあったと思います。長女8歳を社会科見学ということで連れて行ったのですが、初日は寂しくて泣いていましたが、次の日から毎日楽しんでいました。そんなお気に入りはイートンセンター（トロント最大のショッピングモール）でのCLARE'Sでのショッピング。（2020年まで日本でもイオン等に入っていました）何回行ったことか笑

にしても、初めての異国の地での生活、英語、人種。彼女自身色々と得たものがあったのではないでしょうか。お疲れ様でした。また行こう。

I went to Toronto for short trip for a week with my daughter. It was for the first time in 16 years. It is very long time. The impression of Toronto was that it was packed with people because of accepting many immigrants?? and everything was expensive especially eating out. At downtown, I could see construction rushes in everywhere. Terribly heavy traffic was everywhere too because of road construction. I felt a kind of "Bubble"economy.

I met some of my friends everyday. It was not enough time at all though.

I took my daughter with me this time. I think It was really challenging for her to go abroad, and also first time to overseas. She absorbed many stuff there to have been in different country, various races, languages. good job.
